Veteran, Author, Public Speaker

Michael is a decorated US Army veteran of the Vietnam war. After his service, he spent years working for the Peace Corps in Africa. Author of the book Souled Out: A Memoir of War and Inner Peace, he is in high demand as a keynote speaker. His story of courage and healing has inspired countless individuals across the country.

I was drafted in 1969 at age 19. I served with the infantry in the Vietnam War, and came home profoundly changed. Failing at life, unable to focus on education and unable to readjust to life at home, I joined the Peace Corps to escape a world I no longer fit into. Today my passion is giving presentations that educate and offer resolutions for returning warriors. My 45 years with severe PTSD qualify me to speak on the topic. The most important element to successful treatment for the warrior who wants answers is to trust and believe in those who provide that healing.
